NOTE: The Grade of the student is determined by the school. All priveleges in the dormitory (such as light out times) are linked to this and good behaviour.
Many students will need to use a portion of their leisure/activities time for study. Where academic
reports from school show that it is necessary, a boarder will be required to schedule part of this time
to bring grades/marks up to a satisfactory standard.
Weekly bus service
For those students who wish to travel at weekends, the Dormitory Director organises a weekly bus service to Saudi Arabia on behalf of the Parents. The
buses will normally depart from the Dormitory on Thursday afternoon and return Saturday evening. Buses travel to Al Khobar and selected Aramco camps.
Schedules are indicated on the Dormitory Calendar which can be found here. The cost of
this service is determined on a Semester basis according to the number students using the service.
We occasionally have requests from students to travel to other Aramco camps. Parents are asked to confirm
these arrangements prior to students traveling.
We also have requests for transport on days when the buses are not scheduled to run. We always try to assist when we can, but the budget is restricted to the set number of buses weekly.
