Admissions
The following procedure should be followed when applying for a place in the dormitory:
- Print and complete the application form
- Check that your child satisfies the immunization requirements. Photocopies of vaccination certificates or other documentary evidence should be provided with the application
- Provide your son's or daughter's present school and others attended within the last academic year with two copies of the Academic and Social Reference forms. These should be from two different teachers.
- Complete "Request for Student Records" and send to all schools attended in the last academic year.
- Enclose a clear copy of the applicant's passport and the father's passport with your application.
- A deposit of BD 50. Drafts should be made payable to "Bahrain International School Association". This will be applied towards the boarding fee for first semester (half year). Deposits will be refunded to parents/guardians if BISA is unable to accept the student.
- Please enclose 8 passport size photographs with your application. These should be colour photographs taken on a white background.
- All forms with deposit should be mailed to the BISA Dormitory at the address shown at the bottom of the page, or may be scanned and e-mailed to bisabah@batelco.com.bh.
The "Medical/Health History" and "Dormitory Physical Form" will be forwarded to you as soon as your child has been provisionally accepted by the BISA Dormitory and we have opened a file at the Bahrain School. Please note that registration at the school may be delayed until all health requirements have been met.
